Three contemporary hinterland houses, nestled on a steeply sloping subdivision, are designed to individually respond to the setting, space, and views of each site. Each dwelling is designed around a landscaped open courtyard providing access to the house which creates a private space unique to each home.
Designed to use natural resources each house generates more energy than it needs, minimising bills and ongoing costs and whilst similar in design, individually they respond to their own setting, balancing optimum solar orientation with key views towards mature trees to the south.
